It is only a short walk away from the beautiful river Swale, the village pub, restaurant and tea room. This traditional cottage has many original features such as beamed ceilings, original bread oven, open fire and flagstones floors to the ground floor. There is a small south facing patio area to the front of the cottage where you can sit out and enjoy the views and the sunshine. Heather View is an ideal cottage from which to enjoy all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
Gunnerside has its own local pub The Kings Head which offers good food and Yorkshire ales. It also has a tea room and restaurant, and the mobile Fish & Chip van comes to the village square each Friday between 8.00 and 8.30pm come rain or shine.
