There is a small south facing patio area to the front of the cottage where you can sit out and enjoy the views and the sunshine. Heather View is an ideal cottage from which to enjoy all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

Gunnerside has its own local pub The Kings Head which offers good food and Yorkshire ales. It also has a tea room and restaurant, and the mobile Fish & Chip van comes to the village square each Friday between 8.00 and 8.30pm come rain or shine.
